This little book was written for beginners doing loomwork.  I believe that it's named after the Apache Bead Loom, not named for Apache designs, as there are lots of watch fobs from various fraternal orders and the like.  It does have a few nice pictures of knitted beaded purses of the type in vogue in the early 19th century, but only instructions for one simple knitted change purse.  The larger charts are for loomed pieces that were to be done in strips and then sewn together (no doubt because the Apache loom was of limited width-- I would loom them as a single piece on a bigger loom.)  Anyway there are a few nice designs here and easy projects for beginners, as well as some more ambitious projects.
